Marchand Misses Game to Welcome Daughter

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand missed Thursday's game against the New York Islanders to welcome his third child, a daughter named Rue. Marchand and his wife Katrina Sloane already have two daughters, Britanny and Sloane.

Bruins Visit Boston Children's Hospital

Despite missing the game, Marchand made sure to visit the young patients at Boston Children's Hospital on Thursday. Marchand, dressed as Master Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, brought joy and smiles to the children with his visit.

Marchand's visit was part of the Bruins' annual holiday toy drive. The team visited the hospital to deliver toys and spread some holiday cheer to the young patients.
